BIG BAD SUNDAY

We are excited to invite you to the new BIG BAD SUNDAY! What’s new? We are moving to an indoor/outdoor location, located in the inner west suburb of Newtown! Just in time for those sweet summer vibes!

Whilst this is an exciting change, we must also thank the wonderful people and crew at Hustle and Flow Bar. We have hosted ninety Big Bad Sundays at the iconic Hip Hop venue in Redfern, so we’d like to acknowledge the facts, and the support from the venue and team, over that time!

Location: Level 1 – Botany View Hotel Newtown. 597 King St, Newtown.

Entry: $5 + bf

Excitingly, we will be hosting this new event from 3pm to 8pm on the last Sunday of the month, with our DJ crew and guests where permissible. This first one however kicks off on the October long weekend!

As you may, or may not know, this event is a passion project; one where we want to give the people of Sydney the opportunity to listen to modern Caribbean music. Our intention is to expose Sydney and our patrons to the world of Caribbean music. As new music releases, we want you to know you can hear it first at Big Bad Sunday!

As such, we will be asking for a token contribution towards paying for some of the overheads such as DJs, Marketing, Photography and Door person costs. We think a fair value is $5. An afternoon of good vibes, and the best in Caribbean music for the cost of a large latte.
